We left Connecticut in the late afternoon (July 22, 2026) and drove until late evening. We stopped in a parking lot in Pennsylvania to sleep for the first night.
We woke up early to get another stretch of driving in the next morning (July 23, 2026). Another pit stop in Pennsylvania had us at a “Fairfield Mall” type place for a couple of hours.
The boys even got to get prizes out of the quarter machines, just like those Fairfield Mall days. (If you know, you know!)
After the last stop in Pennsylvania, we made it to our destination for the next couple of days: a campground near Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio.
First things first—the boys got right to the important stuff: riding bikes and fishing!
