Erie Canal: Day One-Friday

Packed up the boat and truck, headed out early Friday morning for Alabny, NY. That is Lock 7, we will go through there on Saturday morning.

Made it to the New York Canals boat launch off of Flight Lock Road in Albany, NY.

A couple of pros guiding the boat down the ramp.  This boat launch is just after Lock E 6.

Out on the Erie Canal!
Made it to Lock E 7 on Friday early evening.  To the left of Auggie is the lock our boat will go in tomorrow to traverse the elevation of the canal!
That is our boat down there. Viewing from the top of the lock where the boys are standing in the picture above.  We will spend Friday  night here and head out first thing in the morning.
